As a Sr. Quality Engineer at PTH, you play a crucial role in ensuring and improving the product quality of our non-food items within the Albert Heijn Blue Home range. You will work closely with Albert Heijn, the internal Blue team, suppliers, and product development to ensure that every product meets the highest quality and safety standards. You will report to the Quality Director.

Your Responsibilities

  • Monitor and improve product quality and compliance for the AH Blue Home range.
  • Coordinate and assess product tests, inspection reports, and technical documentation, and prepare test protocols.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and factories worldwide to ensure quality standards and initiate improvement processes.
  • Support product development and purchasing in selecting reliable and compliant products.
  • Monitor complaints, conduct root cause analyses, and guide corrective actions.
  • Stay current with relevant laws and regulations (including REACH, CE, Dutch Commodities Act) and translate them into practical guidelines.

Your Profile

  • A completed bachelor’s degree in, for example, Engineering, Chemistry, or Quality Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality standards, testing methodologies, and product legislation.
  • Experience with international suppliers and production processes (e.g., in Asia) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, persuasiveness, and a hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
